To celebrate the World Expo 2010 Shanghai, the annual Pleasure-Boat Night-Walking the West Lake will start earlier this year.

On April 30th, Quanrao Dragon Boat will have its first sailing, and pick up passengers at the 5th Park’s dock from 14:00 to 21:00 (to 21:30 on Fridays and Saturdays). Fruit, Longjing Tea, string and bamboo flute music, and the beauty of the West Lake are composing a comfortable moment of leisure. After the Dragon Boat, many boat activities are following, including rowing boat, painted pleasure boat, leisure boat, etc.

The boat activities this year will be closed in October. For the safety reason, boat night-walking duty stops and a boat night-walking duty office are then established. No boats on bad weather. GPS system, as well as lighting, escape and fire fighting facilities, is equipped on the boat, and each boat can only take 80% of its capacity.
