The Office of the West Lake International Expo Organizing Committee is working on the selection and cultivation of festivals and events for the 12th West Lake Expo 2010. This year’s Expo has been determined to be themed as “Participating in the World Expo Shanghai, Staging a Successful West Lake Expo, Welcoming the 2nd World Leisure Expo”, and focus on some aspects, such as the integration into World Expo, life of low-carbon, green consumption, livable city, health and leisure, etc. 45 festivals and events have been made into the plan up to now, featured by traditional culture and international exchanges
