The Opening Ceremony of West Lake International Tea Culture Expo 2010, China Hangzhou West Lake Longjing Tea Annual First Arrival Festival, and World Expo Shanghai China Top Ten Teas Awarding Ceremony were opening in China Tea Museum on March 26th, 2010. This year’s Tea Expo Opening Ceremony and Annual First Arrival Festival were not only traditional tea events, but also integrated into World Expo Shanghai, and serving the Expo. It aimed at staging an open and influential Longjing Tea Expo Opening Ceremony and West Lake Longjing Tea Annual First Arrival Festival.

This year’s Tea Expo would take the opportunity of World Expo Shanghai, exhibit the cultural connotation and value idea of China top teas, and manifest the supreme status of West Lake Longjing Tea and elegance of China top teas. Longjing Tea is a representative of China top teas, and promoting Longjing Tea and China tea culture is a strategic measure to drive the development of Hangzhou Tourism Industry, and enhance the international reputation of Hangzhou City.

Leaders in the bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination and the Organizing Committee of World Expo Shanghai China Top Ten Teas, and China Top Ten Tea Hosts attended in this event. A series of celebrating activities would be staged.
