The 1st China (Zhejiang) Penggong Bamboo Ware Trade Fair has been initiated. We are noted that during the three-day fair, 340 bamboo ware manufacturers, dealers, and large train stores from all over the country have their booths, and over 300 bamboo commodities, household goods, arts and crafts, vine and wooden wares, etc. are published, presented, promoted, and ordered.
Zhejiang Penggong Bamboo Ware Center is located in Pingyao Township, Yuhang District, Hangzhou, along G104. It was a road market situated in Ganggongling, Penggong Village. In recent years, bamboo wares become very popular in answer to “Low- Carbon, Environmental Protection”, which results in building this large and modern bamboo ware trade platform in 2008. This platform is very convenient, and combines sales exhibition, logistic distribution, storage, and business negotiations.
The new market (Phase 1) has run into operation since November, 2009, and it is expected to have all three-phase construction done in 2012. Up to now, buyers from all over the country have signed purchasing contracts worth of RMB320 million. It is estimated that the market will have its annual turnover of over RMB 7 billion, and become the largest bamboo industry center in China and the largest bamboo ware center in the world. |
