On March 4, the 3rd China (Hangzhou) International Garden, Outdoor Furniture and Leisure Products Exhibition was declared open in Hangzhou Peace International Convention and Exhibition Center. Ms. Tong Guili, vice-mayor of Hangzhou Municipal Government, was addressing and declaring open to the exhibition. Other distinguished guests addressing in the open ceremony were Mr. Wang Zongqi— vice-chairman of China National Light Industry Art and Craft Import & Export Corporation, Mr. Ke Jianping—vice-mayor of Linhai Municipal Government, Mr. Joseph Logan—executive director of International Casual Furnishings Association, Mr. Yu Guoqing—vice-chairman of Hangzhou People’s Political Consultative Conference, etc. Mr. Dong Zude, vice secretary-general of Hangzhou People’s Government, performed the opening ceremony.
This year’s exhibition aims at motivating China outdoor leisure products export corporations to establish their own brands, expand domestic and external market, and advancing the transformation and upgrading of our national outdoor leisure industry. It is an international, professional and branding platform, on which outdoor lifestyle products are exhibited, communication and trade discussion are combined, and outdoor activity lovers can get together.
This year’s exhibition occupies an area of 12,000 square meters with 550 booths. It plans plenty of activities, such as the opening ceremony, exhibiting companies’ order-placing meeting, Outdoor Industry Summit, etc. All exhibits are categorized into 3 series, the outdoor furnishing products, the gardening products, and the outdoor activity products.
150 exhibiting companies are from mainland China (Zhejiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Fujian, Guangdong, etc.), Australia, the United States, and so on. Foreign buyers are from 26 countries and regions, like Canada, Egypt, Germany, UK, USA, Hongkong China, Taiwan China, etc. It is estimated that domestic and foreign buyers shall be no less than 3,000, and the number of visitors shall be over 20,000. |
