On March 3, the project “Hundreds of People Talking about Waters—Five Hundred People Commenting on ‘Harnessing Five Waters, Charming Hangzhou’” was initiated. The results of this project will be presented in Hangzhou Pavillion, World Expo 2010 Shanghai—Urban Best Practices Area. Several interview and information-collection venues are set up by the West Lake, the Canal, the Xixi Wet Land, the Qiantang River, etc., from March 3 to 21. The target of this project is to collect information of 500 people from all works, traditional residents and the so-called New Citizen in Hangzhou. In the way of discussing, tasting (green tea), painting, and commenting on waters, they show others that Hangzhou is an open, harmonious, and generous city, and people in Hangzhou live a happy life. Each selected information-provider will have his/her photo, personal information and best wishes presented in Hangzhou Pavillion, World Expo 2010 Shanghai—Urban Best Practices Area, and be provided with an admission to World Expo 2010 Shanghai.
