On November 5, the full time vice-chairman of Shanghai World Expo executive office yanqun, Zhong, deputy director of yonglei, Zhu and other person concerned visited our city. The deputy secretary of Hangzhou municipal Party committee Ming Ye, the economic adviser of Hangzhou government shengshan, Jin, the assistant secretary-general of the municipal government, the chairman of the west lake international expo Min Ye, the responsible officers of City Tour Committee and the office of the west lake international expo met them. The two parties conferred the matter of Hangzhou participate in the work of the Shanghai World Expo, and signed "a framework agreement on comprehensive co-operation between Hangzhou Municipal People's Government and Bureau of Shanghai Expo Coordination". This shows that the two sides will build a platform for cooperation and development, propagate the world expo brand, promote tourism products, and provide good service to the 2010 Shanghai World Expo together.

According the agreement, the two sides will make active use of the official website of Shanghai World Expo, portal website of Hangzhou Municipal People's Government, and their network resources to strengthen information release, exchange, developing a Multi-category areas and multidirectional cooperation. The Bureau of Shanghai World Expo helped Hangzhou to do the Urban Best Practices Area work well and participation in Expo Forum during the World Expo, and Hangzhou will rely on its perfect foundation of industrial development to provide a powerful rear base for the Shanghai World Expo.
