The 2010 Hangzhou Zhejiang Conference on International Exchange and Cooperation of Professionals opened in the International Conference Center of Hangzhou Intercontinental Hotel on November 2. The conference takes “exchange, cooperation, innovation, and undertaking-starting” as its theme, while highlighting innovation and undertaking-starting, and “basing ourselves in Hangzhou, exploring the overseas human resources market, and serving Zhejiang” as its gist, and “showcasing, interactions, publicity, and effectiveness” as its guidelines. As a bridge connecting Hangzhou well with the international job market, the conference is expected to attract more overseas projects to be invested in Hangzhou, more overseas senior professionals to start undertakings in Hangzhou, and more up-to-date international science and technology and ideas to be introduced into Hangzhou. It is hoped that Hangzhou may, through the conference, further the implementation of its cosmopolis-oriented strategies, promoting its exchange and cooperation of international professionals, pursue the strategy of elevate itself by virtue of its human resources, turning itself into a paradise for professionals to seek fortunes, boost its industrial upgrading, revving up its development into an “innovative city”, and nurture and share a city of quality life comparable to other prestigious cities in the world. |
