The mascot of "Haibao" for the World Exposition in Shanghai made an appearance in Hangzhou Youth Palace centre officially on 23rd July. The mascot is 3.5 meters high, 2.3 meters wide, 1.5 meters thick, and the weight about 175 kg. The design of herringbone, highlighted the theme of people foremost and "Better City, Better Life". The arrival of the "Haibao" indicated that the Shanghai World Expo will take a step towards all the people in Hangzhou.
