第九届中国杭州西湖博览会定于2007年10月20日至11月5日在“东方休闲之都”杭州举行。本届西湖博览会突出”和谐生活、和谐创业”的主题，围绕杭州市建设“生活品质之城”，会展业突出精专，打造行业品牌的要求，从健康生活、休闲生活、舒适生活、创业生活、美丽生活、数字生活、艺术生活等七大序列，推出一系列展览、会议和节庆活动项目。西博会是宣传、展示、推广城市品牌和促进会展业发展的平台。

The Ninth China Hangzhou West Lake Expo is to be held from October 20 through November 5, 2007 in Hangzhou, the Oriental Leisure Capital. Giving prominence to its theme “harmonious life, harmonious entrepreneurship”, this West Lake Expo centers on Hangzhou’s efforts to construct “a city of quality life”. The convention and exhibition industry lays stress on the requirements for staging top-notch events and building the brand in the industry. A series of exhibitions, conventions and festival activity projects are to be introduced, covering such areas as healthy life, leisure life, comfortable life, entrepreneurship life, beautiful life, digital life and artistic life. The West Lake Expo is a platform to publicize, display and promote the city’s brand and facilitate the development of the convention and exhibition industry.
